About the Event
Soul Salons are a series of conversations in which, ALTAR founder and consciousness concierge, Kathy Bresler, will introduce you to some of the women whose work has made a difference in her life. Join us for the next installment in the series, when Kathy will talk with women's empowerment and leadership expert, Andrea Kayne, about the Enneagram and how knowing your type can be a useful tool for personal and professional growth. In this discussion, Andrea will also talk about her upcoming workshops: The Internally Referenced Enneagram - What if there is no missing piece? where together we will explore how each type on the Enneagram can compulsively search for fulfillment outside themselves in ways that actually undermine their sense of wholeness and well-being. Andrea will share paths of growth and acceptance for each type that results in deep healing and equanimity. Throughout her career, Andrea Kayne has grappled with a critical question: How can we, as women, realize our own internal power both personally and professionally, no matter the constraints in the external world? Andrea has pursued this and other questions as Director of the Leadership Program at DePaul University College of Education where she has taught for the last twenty years. Her forthcoming book, Kicking Ass in a Corset: Jane Austen's 6 Principles for Living and Leading from the Inside Out, provides a roadmap that teaches women of any age or profession how to tune out the external noise and listen to themselves.
