Equinox Ritual & Sound Healing with Liaali & ALTAR

Join us for an evening of reflection and relaxation to honor the fall equinox and the perfect balance of light and dark. We'll gather in the Moon Pods for a seasonal ritual of reflection led by Kathy Bresler followed by a sound healing meditation with Julia Alimova of Liaali to bring our minds, hearts and entire nervous system into balance. The sensory experience will be enriched by the potent energy of the Divine Feminine as we are surrounded by the goddess banners. What is a Sound Bath / Sound Healing Session?

During a sound healing session, also known as a sound bath, you'll typically lie down on the floor or a yoga mat, perhaps cuddle up with a cozy blanket, and simply listen up as a practitioner plays a variety of instruments and you "bathe" in the soothing sounds and vibrations. I like to describe it as a "meditative acoustic sound concert." The sound frequencies then slow down brain waves to a deeply restorative state, activating the body's self-healing system.

Sound and music can be effective healers for a range of mental, emotional, and even physical ailments. Some of the most highly reported benefits of music therapy and sound healing include:

Julia Alimova's lifelong passion for all types of music led her to become a techno and house DJ. She played in Chicago for several years until in 2019 she found a new outlet for musical expression through playing high-frequency harmonizing instruments live and singing. She became a Certified Sound Healing Practitioner in 2020 and launched Liaali, through which she has been growing her connection to her instruments and the world of natural medicine.
