About the Event
What if instead of doubling down and working harder you leaned into Wonder? Research shows your productivity would actually increase. Join us for a playful, immersive experience that uses art to activate the power of creativity & curiosity, reveal what might be in our way, and deepen rapport with others. We aren’t making anything. We’re investigating ourselves. We’ll use dye, water & watercolor paper as our means of discovery. Since there is no controlling exactly what happens, it frees us to let go of expectations and disrupt our habitual patterns of thinking and creating.
Ellen Brook is a San Francisco Bay Area abstract painter and designer. At 40, Ellen discovered her creative potential and redefined her career. She creates artwork, apparel & accessories. Ellen’s work has been exhibited in art and design shows, on Bay Area runways, on album covers, and in the media. Featured shows include the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History and “Artwear” at San Francisco's de Young Museum. She is on the Advisory Board of Cañada College’s Fashion & Design Dept. and the Artist Advisory Council for Kids & Art.
