How does the SoulCollage Process work?

1. Immerse Yourself in Images. "When the soul wishes to experience something, she throws an image of the experience before her and enters her own image." - Meister Eckhart
   Sifting through a feast of cut-out magazine images, you “grab what grabs you.”

2. Reassemble the images. Using imagination and intuition, you reassemble the images in new and surprising ways to create individual 5” x 8” collaged cards. Each card represents a different aspect of your Self or Soul. Often, you'll find that you do not know why you gravitate toward certain images! The meaning of each SoulCollage card emerges through the very act of creating it and using it.

3. Honor Your Multi-Faceted Self. "Everybody has a world, and that world is completely hidden until we begin to inquire. As soon as we do, that entire world opens to us and yields itself. And yousee how full and complex it is." -David Guterson
   A deck of SoulCollage® cards is like a visual journal. Holding your deck is like holding and honoring your Self. By acknowledging and giving voice to the many parts of ourselves, we cultivate awareness and acceptance of our complex, often contradictory, unique and beautiful soul.

   Beyond the joy of creative self-expression, SoulCollage® cards are a powerful tool for consulting your inner wisdom. We let the cards speak to us through an exercise called “I Am One Who...” in which we inhabit the image and ask three simple questions: Who are you? What do you have to give me? What do you want from me? The answers are often surprising and not necessarily what we imagined when the image was first selected. Messages tend to deepen and reveal more of themselves over time.
