Women's Money Lab

About the Event
Financial wellness is key for everyone, but too often women are socially conditioned to believe that focusing on (or talking about) money is “unladylike” or distasteful. Yes, even in 2020. It is that cultural conditioning that can cause us to put off planning for our future, or even become frozen with self-doubt and wondering how to take that first solid step.
The Women’s Money Lab (“W$L”) is designed as a safe space to:
- Understand more about your money persona
- Reduce money shame
- Set financial goals
- Develop a plan to meet them
We will do this together in a supportive environment with other women who are also working toward a life of financial wellness. See the full curriculum HERE.
What differentiates W$L from the ocean of financial research and advice available?
It’s simple. We are not selling financial services products or advice to Lab participants. Rather, we are providing a supportive educational environment to take the first steps toward financial wellness by exploring our money triggers, understanding basic financial concepts and options for how to handle our money. You identify and set realistic financial goals that work for you. Then, together, we support each other toward achieving them without an expectation that financial details of each other’s lives must be shared. Of course, if discussing details of your financial intentions and/or goals would be helpful, this will be welcome as well. Know that this is a safe and confidential space that respects your boundaries.
