Movement Medicine® + SoulCollage®

Have you recognized your body as a reliable divination tool? We consult oracle cards, Rune stones, Tarot, psychics— and often forget that our bodies are constantly giving us valuable and accurate guidance that move us toward our life's highest purpose. Movement is an excellent way to tune into the triple intelligence of our body, heart and imagination.

Through the rhythm of curated music and guidance during this dynamic workshop we will explore the natural world inside and outside of our being-ness: Earth, Fire, Water, Air, and Ether—  learning to listen and follow our “interocepton”. This can take the shape of a lively free-spirited dance or a slow moving mediation (and often both)— which will ground you in the present moment and the joy of movement. Guided by  Movement Medicine® Teacher, Carrie Zaza Branovan, this is a first of its kind in Chicago.

Our movement journey will be followed by an integration session led by our trained SoulCollage® facilitator and founder of ALTAR, Kathy Bresler to help us visualize our inquiry into “Who Are We Now?”.  We will intuitively choose from a variety of provided images and each create our own SoulCollage® card to support us to integrate our embodied experience.

No experience is necessary. Women with all physical conditions, all ages, (16+), all cultural backgrounds are graciously welcome. We suggest you wear comfortable layered clothing that you can move in. and please bring water,  an object that represents the natural world for our collective altar (which you will take back home with you) and an open mind.
