Hello, Spring! Goodbye, Goddesses!

Have one last experience with the Goddesses before they move on...

Join us for a festive weekend celebrating the full moon, the coming of spring and our gratitude toward the Goddesses-in-Residence.

Friday Full Moon Fete

6:00-9:00pm

Join for a festive evening celebrating the goddesses and playing together in divine feminine energy.

There will be food, drink, a fun playlist, gifts from the goddesses to collect throughout the evening and a special program at 6:45pm where the goddesses will amplify our full moon intentions and help us embody the sacred feminine within all of us.

When was the last time you got to play dress up? Join us for a Full Moon Fete (March 18th) honoring the Goddesses-in-Residence and the sacred feminine in all of us.  Come play under the full moon Friday night, as we invoke and embody these symbols so that they live on within us, and inside ALTAR’s DNA, long after they’ve departed.

Katie Hoffner, curator of the Goddess Banners and Lydia’s niece, will be back to lead us in a playful, celebratory feast for the senses. We’ll have food, drink, music and mischief. The Goddesses will “come alive,” as they do annually at the Glastonbury Festival in England, to share their wisdom and amplify our full moon intentions.

Dare to dress as the Goddess you are, or the Goddess-in-Residence you wish to be. We’ll have glitter, garlands and other goddess adornments available, too. Have some costume closet goodies you want to share for the evening? Ask about our wishlist at hello@altarcommunity.com.

Sunday Equinox Celebration and Closing Ritual

10:00-11:30am

Sink into ceremony Sunday morning (March 20th) as we celebrate the spring Equinox and participate in a communal ritual to honor each goddess through the voices of our community.

During our interactive closing ceremony, we will give voice to the Goddesses through the found poems the community has created throughout their stay.  We'll bless the 41 altar flags representing the Goddesses-in-Residence that will permanently reside in the space and we will weave them together as we say goodbye.
